Richard Martinous is concerned that debris from the tornado-ravaged St. John?s M...

This is just the "Tip of the Iceberg" for Joplin.
Similar "Promiscuous Dumps" are all over the area.
Zoning Conflicts, Promiscuously Dumped Waste Materials, Reasonable Land Use, PTSD, No help or not enough help from people, who should be ...helping resolve concerns, etc., is and will be a Constant in the future of this area.
Will Anyone be able to live in Joplin without conflict between your personal Rights/Preferences allowed by Law and Big Money / "Recovery"? It is and will continue to be painful.
So Not In My Backyard (NIMBY) & Not In My Term Of Office (NIMTOO) & Local Unwanted Land Use (LULU) have become extremely important and demanding issues that Joplin was/is not prepared to handle. Will Joplin do the right thing in the future with lessons learned? This Neighborhood got "Dumped On"!
How is this going to play out in the long run b/c we have 13 miles of 'Primed for Conflict" Tornado Zone waiting to dump Re-building debris, etc.. but effecting so much more. It really comes down to how it's all handled, hopefully better next time b/c there will be a next time.
