More than 600 participants will race to the top of 191 Peachtree Tower in the American Lung Association?s Fight for Air Climb on April 6, 2013. Climbers will take on the unique challenge of climbing 52 stories while fund raising to support the mission of the American Lung Association.
Individual participants; teams of climbers united by a commitment to the mission of ALA; and firefighters in full gear will come from more than 85 cities throughout Georgia to ascend the stairs to the beautiful Commerce Club atop the third tallest building in Atlanta.
Lung disease is the number-three killer in the United States, responsible for one in six deaths. The Climb is the American Lung Association?s largest fundraising event in Georgia and plays a critical role in the funding of research, education and advocacy throughout the state.
