First Church of the Nazarene: Positive Parenting

The First Church of the Nazarene is offering parenting classes for this fall. This eight session class shows parent attendees how to teach their children life skills and values, set appropriate boundaries, understand and respond to misbehavior with loving guidance, and follow through with kindness and firmness. The cost is $35 per family.

Wednesday Classes, ?Birth Through Teens,? starts September 19 and ends November 14, 2012 (7:00 p.m. ? 8:30 p.m.) in Room 249, Reed Hall.

Thursday Classes, ?Birth Through Elementary,? starts September 20 and ends November 15, 2012 (9:15 a.m. ? 11:45 a.m.) in Room 249, Reed Hall.

Free childcare (limited availability) by contacting Debbie Hammock at (626) 351-2475. For returnees, childcare is available when there is space remaining after first time participants have completed childcare requests. Space will be determined 48 hours before the first day of class. New families who need childcare have to fill out the Family Release Form and bring it to the child?s first class.
