PR session gets the buzz

On Thursday, September 6, the ?PR Buzz on a Budget? workshop will be held at the Best Buy Davie, Training Room, located at 2200 S University Drive in Davie, Florida. This session will begin at 5:00 pm and run until 8:00 pm.

Since using publicity and public relations supplies business owners with a low-cost and effective way to spread the word about the business they own, the aim of this workshop is to assist business owners to find low-cost ways to promote their business using online press releases, magazines, newspapers, social media, television, and radio.

Patricia Maldonado, a press veteran, is the instructor for this session. She is the president of Little Fish Media LLC and a freelance writer. Participants will learn what great content is, how to write excellent content, and what content the various types of media are seeking. There will be in-depth discussion on how to go about developing lasting relationships with various media writers, the numerous methods that can be applied to gain exposure for the business, and about how to use online press releases, the business website, and blogs to gain a high ranking for the business website and additional exposure for the business. This session is interactive and hands-on lessons will be taught using various teaching techniques.
