Apr 09, Colombo: Sri Lanka's national carrier, SriLankan Airlines announced that flights to Rome, Milan and Moscow will continue uninterrupted according to the current schedule.

The flight frequencies to these three destinations will also remain unchanged, the airline said.

Earlier, the airline, in its move to cut costs, announced the flights to Rome, Milan and Zurich would be suspended temporarily during the off peak times from May to June.

However, the Sri Lankan President on a request made by the Colombo Cardinal Rev. Malcom Ranjith has directed the CEO of SriLankan, Kapila Chandrasena to continue the flights without interruptions.
